About one-third of Americans experience sleep problems. If you or someone you care about has trouble sleeping soundly at night or staying awake during the day, SwedishAmerican may be able to help. Thankfully, SwedishAmerican Medical Center/Belvidere is home to the area's newest Sleep Disorders Center, which means you can access the latest services without having to leave town.

Equipped with two modern, comfortable sleep rooms, each with a private bathroom, our center offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for adults with a range of sleep problems, from excessive daytime sleepiness, fatigue and heavy snoring to sleep disturbances, morning headaches and sleepwalking.

Sleep disorders can be effectively treated once they have been accurately diagnosed through a sleep study. Treatments are covered by many insurance companies. If you have questions about coverage, it is best to contact your insurance company.
