Ian Goldberg, DO and Rehmat Sheikh, MD Join SwedishAmerican Heart Institute

SwedishAmerican is pleased to introduce our new cardiologist Ian Goldberg, DO and interventional cardiologist Rehmat Sheikh, MD.
Dr. Goldberg comes to SwedishAmerican with over 27 years of cardiology experience and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has a special interest in coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, and peripheral vascular disease.
Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed his internal medicine residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois and Fellowship training in cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Dr. Sheikh comes to SwedishAmerican with more than 15 years of experience and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear medicine, and echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has a special interest in coronary angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, echocardiography, and stress testing.
Dr. Sheikh received his medical degree from Government Medical College in Srinagar, India. He completed both his internal medicine residency and interventional cardiology fellowship at Chicago Medical School Rosalind Franklin University Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
