EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
SwedishAmerican Health System values education and learning. In addition to our role as a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Illinois College of Medicine, the health system provides a number of different clinical internship and externship experiences in cooperation with area colleges and universities.
Our health system also is home to two schools sponsored by SwedishAmerican Hospital. The SwedishAmerican School of Radiography offers certificate and baccalaureate programs that provide radiography students with skills for employment in the field of radiography. The SwedishAmerican School of Radiation Therapy offers baccalaureate and certificate programs that prepare students for careers as radiation therapists.
