UW Health general surgeons provide comprehensive surgical care in many different areas. They offer many diagnostic and interventional surgical procedures including laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries for many types of diseases and medical conditions.

Procedures routinely performed in this clinic include, but are not limited to:
Advanced laparoscopic techniques for conditions including appendicitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis hiatal hernias, GERD, ulcers, spleen, gall bladder, small bowel and colorectal cancers/masses/polyps, hemorrhoids and anal disorders.
Laparoscopic and open repairs for recurrent and complicated hernias.
Diagnostic and interventional surgical procedures for benign and malignant endocrine diseases.
Same day, in-office stereotactic and core needle biopsies.
